Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression (CBT-D)
CBT-D is one of the treatments with the strongest level of support for depression treatment in Ohio. It works by helping you attack the beliefs and behaviors that are keeping depression alive. Much of CBT-D involves monitoring one’s use of time and scheduling pleasant and meaningful activities. It also involves examining and challenging unhelpful thoughts and using other common cognitive-behavioral coping tools. The treatment typically involves 10-15 sixty-minute sessions. More information about CBT-D can be found here.
